Provides health and dental services for low cost for Sevier County residents who do not have insurance.

Provides health services in the areas of: adult and childhood immunizations, communicable diseases, pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted diseases, cancer screening, nutritional supplement program for pregnant women and children (WIC), care coordination for Children Special Services (CCS), care coordination for pregnant women, child health and development (CHAD), breastfeeding information and support, AIDS/HIV testing and counselling, childhood dental services, childhood health screenings, primary care for uninsured adults age 19-64 years, and birth and death certificates.

The Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program is a federal program that buys and provides all vaccines recommended for children younger than 19 years who do not have insurance to cover the cost of vaccines. About half of children in Tennessee are eligible. In Tennessee, VFC vaccines are available at all local health departments and through more than 500 other clinics statewide enrolled in the VFC Program. Most pediatricians and many family doctors who see children participate in the VFC Program.
