R. Jack Fishman Library (test): About the Library

The R. Jack Fishman Library provides physical and digital information resources to meet the teaching and learning needs of students, faculty, staff, and community members at all campus and online locations.

R. Jack Fishman Library’s facilities support the institutional mission by providing students and faculty with physical space conducive to study and research, access to print and online collections, and the technology required to complete their work. The Library is a three-story 50,000 square foot building and provides seating for 500 patrons. The Library has “AirNet Zone,” a wireless Internet access for students to use their own laptops and tablets anywhere in the building. The first and second floors of the Library are furnished with tables, chairs, and lounge furniture for group and individual study. Each table provides an outlet for students to plug in laptops and mobile devices. The Library provides 128 desktop/virtual computers, each loaded with a large suite of productivity applications, internet tools, and specialized course-related software. The print collection of 27,000 books is located on the first floor, as are 99 journals and magazines, 7 daily/weekly newspapers, and card catalog.
