Welcome! The purpose of this LibGuide is to help you find information regarding Appalachia - mostly the Southern Central, Central, and Northern Central regions. Information about Appalachia is not centrally located anywhere on the Internet. Instead it is spread across repositories, organizational and historical websites, and government sites. This site does not attempt to list all Appalachian information, but provide you with prominent sites and an idea of where to go to find more information.
This LibGuide was originally created for a presentation at the Mildred Haun Conference, which occurs annually the first weekend of February. The conference is free and all are welcome!
