Pilots: Home

This guide provides information of the software, web tools, and apps that are being, or have been, piloted at Walters State Community College.

WSCC Pilots

A pilot program, also called a feasibility study or experimental trial, is a small-scale, short-term experiment that helps an institution learn how a large-scale project might work in practice. Pilots provide a platform to test logistics, prove value, and reveal possible deficiencies before the institution spends a large amount of time, energy, or money on a particular software, web tool, or app

As you can see below, Instructional Design has been instrumental in organizing several pilots at Walters State and worked closely with faculty and staff to help effectively implement these tools. If you are interested in participating in a pilot, or have an idea about starting a pilot, please contact Instructional Design for assistance.
