Other Resources

Respondus LockDown Browser and/or Monitor

The following series of videos shows you how to use Respondus Lockdown Browser and Respondus Lockdown Monitor. I show you how to turn these settings on, what the students see, and how you can view the results.

Lockdown Browser is a separate browser the keeps students from opening other windows while taking the exam. Students must download "Lockdown Browser" to take the quiz.

  • Lockdown Monitor with Lockdown Browser actually records the student taking the exam while also keeping the students from accessing other windows during the exam. To use Lockdown Monitor and Lockdown Browser together, students must
    • Download Lockdown Browser
    • Have a Webcam of some type
    • Show an ID
